Terms of Service

This Terms of Service Agreement (this “Agreement”) is a binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “you”, “your”) and Mint Express Car Wash and its parent, subsidiaries or affiliates (collectively “Mint”, “Mint Express”, “Mint Car Wash”, “we” or “us”). This Agreement (“Terms”) governs your access to and use of our car wash services, website, mobile applications, and any other services we provide (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any part of our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. Your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Use, which outline acceptable usage guidelines and user responsibilities. By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you also acknowledge and accept the Terms of Use. If you do not agree to both, you may not use our Services.

 

2. Services Overview

Mint Express provides express car wash services through physical locations and provide promotions and purchase options for these services through digital or text platforms. Services may include car washes, car wash memberships, detailing services, hand car washes, gift cards, wash cards, promotional offers, and customer support.

 

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Car Washes, Membership and Detailing Services Terms

By enrolling in our membership plans or purchasing car washes, gift cards or wash books, or booking detailing services, you agree to provide accurate information and abide by the terms outlined in this Terms of Service agreement. Services may vary by location and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any of the services at any time at any of the locations.

 

Customer information may be collected when purchasing car washes, gift cards, memberships, detailing or using any Mint Express service. This may include your name, contact details, payment information, and vehicle data. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of this information for service delivery, communication, and operational purposes. We also use license plate recognition technology to identify vehicles for membership validation, operational efficiency, enhance customer experience and site security. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your vehicle’s license plate information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

In addition to our primary services, we offer complimentary amenities for vehicles that have either paid for a car wash or hold an active car wash membership. These amenities include vacuums, compressed air hoses, towels, glass cleaners, mat cleaners, car fragrances, and other related products and services. Customers must first wash their vehicle before using any of the amenities. Customers who have not paid for a car wash or only wish to use the vacuums or amenities, must first pay for the use of vacuums and other amenities at the office before using any of the amenities. All amenities are to be used within the car wash premises at the customer’s sole discretion and it is the customer’s responsibility to decide if the use of any of the amenities is appropriate for them or their vehicle. Mint Express Car Wash does not assume any liability for or arising from the use of these amenities. Amenities such as, but not restricted to, towels and bottles, must not be taken off the premises and all amenities must be returned to their designated place after use. We reserve the right to alter, amend or discontinue the use or availability of any of these amenities at any location at any time. We also reserve the right to charge for any of the amenities or related products and services at our sole discretion.

 

Monthly Memberships

  • Membership Benefits: Members receive unlimited car washes up to twice a day for the duration of their active membership.

  • Billing & Payments: Membership fees are billed monthly to the payment method on file on a recurring basis until canceled. Failure to process payment may result in suspension or cancellation.

  • Upgrade or downgrade membership: Members may upgrade or downgrade their membership at any time. When upgrading, the member will be charged the difference between their prior wash plan and upgraded wash plan immediately on a pro-rata basis. When downgrading, the member will be charged the applicable membership for the downgraded service only at the next billing, but the service will be downgraded immediately.

  • Cancellation Policy: Members can cancel at any time but are required to give a 7-day notice before the next billing to avoid charges. Notice of cancellation will be accepted only by filling out the Cancelation form available on the website.

  • Non-Transferable: Memberships are for personal use only and cannot be shared or transferred.

  • Usage Restrictions: Membership applies only to the registered vehicle and non-transferable. Memberships cannot be used for commercial purposes.

  • Vehicle Changes: Vehicle changes must be reported to Mint Express to update your membership profile.

  • Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable, including partial months. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor that their membership and billing are in order.

  • Modification of Terms: Mint Express Car Wash reserves the right to modify membership terms at any time.

 

 

Annual Memberships

  • Membership Benefits: Members receive unlimited car washes up to twice a day for the duration of their active membership.

  • Billing & Payments: Membership fees are billed annually to the payment method on file. Failure to process payment may result in suspension or cancellation.

  • Cancellation Policy: Members can cancel at any time but are required to give a 7 -day notice before next billing. Cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle to avoid charges.

  • Non-Transferable: Memberships are for personal use only and cannot be shared or transferred.

  • Usage Restrictions: Membership applies only to the registered vehicle and non-transferable. Memberships cannot be used for commercial purposes.

  • Vehicle Changes: Vehicle changes must be reported to Mint Express to update your membership profile.

  • Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable, including partial months. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor that their membership and billing are in order.

  • Modification of Terms: Mint Express Car Wash reserves the right to modify membership terms at any time.

 

Family Memberships

  • Membership Benefits: Members receive unlimited car washes up to twice a day for all registered vehicles under the family membership for the duration of their active membership. Family membership is available only for immediate family residing at the same address. Vehicles registered under the family membership must be on the same plan and charged to the same card on file. Memberships cannot be shared outside the registered family members.

  • Enrollment: To enroll, the customer must have an existing membership at full price, monthly or annual, for their selected wash plan. Additional family vehicles, up to a maximum of 4 vehicles, can be added to the family plan only if each vehicle is at the full membership price, monthly or annual. Vehicles on membership at the promotional discounted price, monthly or annual, cannot be added to the family plan during the promotional period but they can be added once the promotional period is over. Addition of any vehicle to the family plan, even if they are on an existing separate membership, is not automatic. It is the customer’s responsibility to visit the car wash office to enroll in the family plan and ensure that the membership account details and billing are accurate.

  • Billing & Payments: Membership fees for all vehicles on the family plan are billed monthly as one fee to the payment method on file. Failure to process payment may result in suspension or cancellation. Addition of vehicles to the family plan is prospective, not retrospective and no credits, full or partial, or refunds will be issued in any case.

  • Upgrade or downgrade membership: Members may upgrade or downgrade their membership at any time. When upgrading, the member will be charged the difference between their prior wash plan and upgraded wash plan immediately on a pro-rata basis. When downgrading, the member will be charged the applicable membership for the downgraded service only at the next billing, but the service will be downgraded immediately. Changes in the wash plan due to an upgrade or downgrade will apply to all vehicles under the family plan.

  • Cancellation Policy: Members can cancel at any time but are required to give a 7 -day notice before next billing. Cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle to avoid charges.

  • Non-Transferable: Memberships are for personal use only and cannot be shared or transferred.

  • Usage Restrictions: Membership applies only to the registered vehicle and non-transferable. Memberships cannot be used for commercial purposes.

  • Vehicle Changes: Vehicle changes must be reported to Mint Express to update your membership profile.

  • Refunds: Membership fees are non-refundable, including partial months. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor that their membership and billing are in order.

  • Modification of Terms: Mint Express Car Wash reserves the right to modify membership terms at any time.

Single Car Wash

  • Service Scope: A single wash includes exterior cleaning only and may include additional services based on the selected package.

  • Payment & Refunds: Payment is due at the time of service. Single washes are non-refundable once completed. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor that their car wash plan and billing are in order.

  • Vehicle Condition: Customers must disclose any pre-existing damage. Mint Express Car Wash is not responsible for damage due to prior conditions, customer negligence or failure to follow vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines. It is the customer's responsibility to decide if the service is suitable for the vehicle as per the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.

  • Liability: Mint Express Car Wash is not liable for damages to the vehicle. Customers must read the safety rules and disclaimer before entering the wash tunnel.

  • Modification of Terms: Mint Express Car Wash reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.

Gift Cards

  • Mint Express Car Wash Gift Cards can be used to purchase a single car wash or detailing service. Customer must present the gift card at the time of check out to purchase the service.

  • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. No refunds or partial credits will be given for any gift card sold. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor that their gift card and billing are in order.

  • Gift cards cannot be used to purchase any type of memberships, gift cards, prepaid cards, bonus cards, value cards, wash books, or any other products or services or applied to previous purchases.

  • Gift cards will expire two years from the date of purchase and cannot be renewed. Any balance in expired gift cards cannot be redeemed for services or used to purchase any car wash services or any kind of prepaid card or wash book. Balance in any expired gift cards cannot be refunded or credited in part or full.  

  • Gift cards are non-transferable and cannot be resold.

  • Mint Express Car Wash is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards.

  • Mint Express Car Wash reserves the rights to change any terms and conditions for the use of gift cards without prior notice.

Wash Cards, Prepaid Cards (including value or bonus cards)

  • Mint Express Car Wash Prepaid Card (also called wash card, wash book, bonus card, or value card), can be used to purchase a single car wash or detailing service. Customer must present the prepaid card at the time of check out to purchase the service.

  • Prepaid cards cannot be exchanged for cash. No refunds or partial credits will be given for any Prepaid card sold. It is the customer's responsibility to monitor that their wash card, wash plan and billing are in order.

  • Prepaid cards cannot be used to purchase any type of memberships, gift cards, prepaid cards, bonus cards, value cards, wash books, previous purchases or any other products or services.

  • Prepaid cards will expire two years from the date of purchase and cannot be renewed. Any balance in expired Prepaid cards cannot be redeemed for services or used to purchase any car wash services or any kind of gift card or prepaid card or wash book. Balance in any expired Prepaid cards cannot be refunded or credited in part or full.  

  • Prepaid cards are non-transferable and cannot be resold.

  • Mint Express Car Wash is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards.

  • Mint Express Car Wash reserves the right to change any terms and conditions for the use of prepaid cards without prior notice. 

 

Detailing Services including Hand Wash Services

  • Service Scope: Detailing services include interior and exterior cleaning, waxing, polishing, and other treatments as specified in the service package.

  • Services are available by appointment through online booking or on availability at the location. Certain services may be available only at select locations or on select days or times.

  • Prices and duration of service are dependent on the size and condition of the vehicle. Final price and estimated time for the service will be determined after inspection of the vehicle.

  • Car wash members get a 20% discount on the basic detailing services. Further discounts are available on more than one service per vehicle.

  • Payment is due at the location before the service commences. Detailing services are non-refundable once the service has commenced.

  • Customers must disclose any pre-existing damage. Mint Express Car Wash is not responsible for damage due to prior conditions, failure to follow manufacturer’s guidelines, known issues or after-market parts. It is the customer's responsibility to decide if the service or products used for the detailing service or hand wash are suitable for the vehicle as per the vehicle manufacturer’s guidelines.

  • Mint Express Car Wash is not liable for personal items left in the vehicle. Customers should remove valuables before service.

  • Mint Express Car Wash reserves the right to offer, modify or withdraw services that are eligible for discounts at any time without notice to the customer.

  • Customers may wait in the designated customer area while the detailing service is underway, or leave and return to collect their vehicle. Mint Express Car Wash cannot be responsible for vehicles that are not collected before closing time.

  • Mint Express Car Wash reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.

 

5. Payment and Refunds

Accepted Methods: We accept major credit/debit cards and other approved payment methods.

Refunds: All sales are final. Refunds are issued only at our sole discretion in cases of service failure or billing errors.

 

6. Promotions and Discounts

Promotional offers and discounts are provided solely at our discretion. They are subject to change or cancellation at any time. Offers may not be combined unless explicitly stated. Terms specific to each promotion will apply.

 

7. Vehicle Restrictions, Safety Rules and Disclaimer

Mint Express Car Wash is committed to providing a safe and efficient wash experience for all customers. To protect our equipment, staff, and your vehicle, the following restrictions and guidelines apply to all car wash and detailing services.

 

Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are in safe, operable condition before using the car wash or detailing services. Customers are responsible for knowing their vehicle’s dimensions and ensuring compliance before entering the wash. Mint Express Car Wash is not liable for damage resulting from non-compliance with these restrictions. Mint Express reserves the right to refuse service to any vehicle that poses a risk to our equipment, staff or other customers.

 

Vehicles must meet the following dimensional requirements to enter the wash tunnel. Measurements include mirrors, roof racks, and aftermarket accessories. Ground clearance is measured from the lowest point of the vehicle’s undercarriage.

  • Height (overall): Maximum: 7 feet 2 inches (86")

  • Width (overall): Maximum: 7 feet (84")

  • Tire Width: Maximum: 13 inches per tire

  • Ground Clearance: Minimum: 4.5 inches

 

The following vehicles are not permitted in the wash tunnel:

  • Dual rear-wheel trucks or dually trucks

  • Vehicles with oversized tires or lifted suspensions exceeding the above limits

  • Low-clearance sports cars or modified vehicles with undercarriage clearance below 4.5 inches

  • Vehicles with non-standard attachments (e.g., ladders, plows, extended mirrors, protruding rims or spoke wheels)

  • Vehicles with exposed or loose parts that may be damaged or interfere with equipment

  • Trailers, motorcycles, or open-frame vehicles

  • Vehicles with excessive dirt or mud

 

For vehicles that exceed or fall below these limits, we may offer alternative wash options or refer customers to nearby facilities equipped for specialty vehicles. Please speak with a team member for assistance.

 

For safety and operational integrity, vehicles with excessive mud, dirt, or debris may be refused entry into the wash tunnel. Heavy buildup can interfere with wash equipment, reduce cleaning effectiveness, and pose a hazard to other vehicles and staff. A pre-rinse or manual cleaning may be recommended prior to using automated services.

 

Before entering the car wash tunnel, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure your vehicle is properly prepared:

  • Remove, fold in, or retract antennas, bike racks, tow hitches, mirrors, running boards, and any non-factory items.

  • Clear truck beds of any objects, loose items or debris.

 

While our car wash is designed to be safe and gentle, Mint Express cannot be responsible for damage to:

  • Vehicles older than 5 years

  • Antennas, bug shields, racks, hitches, mirrors, running boards, wheels, wheel covers, tires, moon visors

  • Any loose molding, trim, wipers, bumpers, rails, spoilers, vehicle emblems

  • Glued-on accessories, non-factory installed or aftermarket accessories

  • Paint, decals, vinyl, magnets, license plates/frames

  • Windshields including pre-existing chips or cracks. (Change in temperature can cause cracks)

  • Leakage from windows, doors, sun/moon roof

  • Automatic driver assistant features, charge ports

  • Pre-existing or unforeseen damages or known defects

  • Items damaged by high pressure water, blowers

  •  Failure to follow manufacturer’s instructions, known recalls, issues or defects

  • Any damage resulting from driver error or negligence

8. User Conduct

As a valued customer of Mint Express Car Wash, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for everyone:

  • Lawful Use: Utilize our services strictly for lawful purposes. Any illegal activities or misuse of our facilities will not be tolerated.

  • Respect for Property: Treat our property with care and respect. Avoid causing any damage to our equipment, facilities, or other customers' vehicles. Any intentional damage or vandalism will result in immediate termination of services and possible legal action.

  • Operational Integrity: Refrain from any actions that may disrupt our operations or the experience of other customers. This includes, but is not limited to, loud or disruptive behavior, blocking entryways or exits or access to services, playing loud or profane music or programs, smoking, consumption of alcohol or controlled substances, littering the premises, or interfering with our staff's ability to perform their duties.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all posted safety instructions and guidelines provided by our staff while on-site. This includes adhering to slow driving speed on the premises, using equipment as instructed, and maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles and customers.

  • Staff Interaction: Treat our staff with respect and courtesy. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior towards our employees will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service or termination of memberships or involving law enforcement in certain cases.

  • Pet Behavior: Pets are welcome on the premises, but they must be kept on a leash and under control at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring they do not disturb other customers or staff. Aggressive or disruptive pets may be asked to leave the premises.

  • Service Refusal and Membership Termination: We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate memberships for any violations of these terms or for any abusive behavior. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and staff.

 

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and materials provided through our Services are the property of Mint Express or its affiliates or licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mint Express Car Wash (“Mint Express”) shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from or related to the use of our Services, including but not limited to:

  • Damage to vehicles resulting from pre-existing conditions, aftermarket modifications, or improperly secured accessories.

  • Loss or theft of personal property left inside or on the vehicle.

  • Mechanical or electrical failures of vehicle components, including but not limited to that stated under Vehicle Restrictions.

  • Weather-related delays, service interruptions, or closures beyond our control.

  • Consequential, incidental, indirect, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of profits, or emotional distress.

  • Mint Express exercises reasonable care in the operation of its facilities and equipment. However, customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are in safe, operable condition prior to entering the wash tunnel or using any of our services.

  • In no event shall Mint Express’s total liability exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

 

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mint Express and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

 

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance.

 

13. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Clause

In the event of a dispute, you agree to first contact us to attempt informal resolution. If unresolved, both parties agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration in Fort Bend County, Texas, rather than in court, except for claims eligible for small claims court.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Fort Bend County, Texas.

 

15. Privacy Policy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Services, you consent to the practices described therein.

 

16. Severability and Entire Agreement

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mint Express regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
